That was a quick deal, most of my basic principals for collecting were met. Asus product, good shape, rare and high-end level piece of equipment. That is why my collection was extended by a powerful NVIDIA`s GPU, the ENGTX590/3DIS/3GD5. It is a dual GF110 graphics card from Fermi architecture and highest model of the GTX 500 series. To be honest I did not searched extensively for this particular card, it just came into my hands by accident and I could not let it go π
Should fit the 2011 build perfectly. Of course, after finding it`s brother π It features a 607 MHz core clock, 3 GB of GDDR5 1215 MHz memory with 345 bit bus for every GPU. This fact results inΒ 327.8GB/sec of total memory bandwidth. Quite astonishing at the time.
For now it is waiting patiently for it`s twin in comfortable conditions and among very good company, FX5950 Ultra is one of them π
He’ll Yeah,
That’s a nice one, I got myself a GTX 570 SLI back in the days. Still love MGPU solutions, the lack of SLI/CROSSFIRE support nowadays is a shame.
Also nice to see my old card in your cabinet next to this Monster GTX 590 π
Have you thought to create a YouTube channel? You have so much cool Retro PC stuff, people would get crazy to see this all.
Best regards
David
Hello David,
thank you for that kind words. I was thinking about YT channel but currenty I don’ t have free time to run this page on a regular basis so making an extra wideo content is currently impossible for me. Hope to lunch it some time in the future though π
This GTX 590 is much bigger than the pictures suggest. Can’t wait to run QuadSLI with two of them π
Hope you visit the page in near future.
Regards Jake!
Thank you!!1
